Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, '96 - The FIRST AAOS ORCHID FESTIVAL AND
SHOW (AOS-judged), in MBG auditorium. Show setup is on Friday, April 12th. While there
will be no regular AAOS meeting during April, there will be potting demonstrations and cultural
talks, as well as several vendors selling orchids during the show. For more information, call Alex

Thursday, June 13, 96 - SPECIAL AAOS MEETING AT MBG. Walter T. Upton, noted Australian orchidist, will speak on "The Native Orchids of Australia." Walter, who is visiting North America for the first time in several years, is author of the 1989 book, Dendrobium Orchids of Australia.
