Barb Larime was absent and no
one recorded an official set of minutes, so the following is reconstructed from the Editor's sketchy
notes and memory. President Connie Bailie again introduced the nominating committee for
1995: Don Fishel, Ruth Kittle, and Chuck Zill will be selecting nominees to be announced at our
March Meeting, for the May election. Members can suggest potential nominees or anything else
related to the elections by contacting Don, Ruth, or Chuck. In addition to those nominated by the
committee, other candidates can be nominated from the floor. AAOS fliers are now available, and
Connie asked those who knew places where they could distribute them to please take some.
Connie announced that a member's questionnaire will be prepared and included in the March
newsletter. She is looking for questions to include from members. Alex announced the schedule
of programs and briefly discussed the mid-April AAOS Orchid Festival and Show. Paige
Hartman has volunteered to be Hospitality Coordinator, Barb Larime Volunteer Coordinator, and
John Lewis Staging and Setup Coordinator. We will not have a regular meeting in April because
of our Orchid Festival. John Lewis discussed the upcoming GLOS show and circulated a
clipboard to collect names and phone numbers of plant-lenders and people to help transport,
setup, and take down our display. Neal solicited articles for the newsletter and reminded people
that these could be emailed to him.--Neal Foster
