Weather-wise, Sunday, 12/3/95, was an especially
nice day. Like our trips in 1992-1994, AAOS members again joined members of the Greater
Lansing Orchid Society, traveling in modest motorcades southeastward to converge at Taylor
Orchids in Monroe. But this time a record number (a total of about 40-45 people from both
clubs) showed up. In addition to offering delicious cakes and beverages, Ron Ciesinski answered
questions and demonstrated some of the fine points of how he repots orchid plants. Everyone
acquired some new orchidological goodies for their collection. Thanks again, Ron et al., for
inviting us!
