On Sunday, 12/10/96, about 40 members and guests enjoyed
our annual holiday party, again graciously hosted by Glenn and Maria Lehr in Manchester. Glenn's
large greenhouse, now over two year old, is not yet bursting with orchid plants, but he's made
good progress towards that goal during the past year. Once again, his excellent growing
conditions plus the lavish care he gives his plants paid off at the Saginaw Valley O. S. show,
where for the second year he won most of the ribbons awarded in the AAOS display. We are
especially grateful to Glenn and Maria and their family for their warmth and hospitality and thank
everyone who brought food and fellowship to share!
