On October 12th we repotted 60 plants. Dead leaf removal and
cleanup of both orchid greenhouses was also done. Shade cloth was
rolled up in the Cattleya house and in the Cymbidium house. More glass
repair was done by our glass expert. The volunteers toured the
conservatory. Dozens of orchids were on display in the tropical house.
The volunteers for this session were: Don and Jane Farrelly, Carolyn
and Richard Olson, Lyle Quinn, Dick Scheich, Frank Szuba, and George
and Sylvia Walker.
The remaining date for Fall 1996 is December 14th.
The dates for Winter and Spring 1997 are:
January 11th
February 8th
March 8th
April 12th
May 10th
Hours are from 9:30 - 3:30. You can come for any amount of time that fits
your schedule. Remember to bring your lunch and tools.
