This is the fourth volume of the series written by Carl Withner. The author discusses, in detail, the appearance, growth habits, incidence and cultivation of the complex alliance of orchids. There are numerous color photos and drawings to help readers. Volumes I, II and III are also in the M.O.S. Library and will be on the book table at the October 1996 membership meeting.

by Ed Golden from the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota Florida.

Novices and experienced orchid growers alike will find this video interesting and instructional. It covers different aspects of orchid care and culture from plant selection and potting to feeding, lighting and watering requirements. It is a class taught by Ed Golden, past president of the Sarasota Orchid Society, who regularly lectures and teaches classes at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.
